In 2009, I started to study “Earth Sciences” at the University of Potsdam. This was followed by an internship at the Alfred-Wegner Institute in 2012, where I worked with the “Quaternary Geology & Sedimentary Climate Archives” group. The field of study was “The sedimentology and geochemical analysis of lacustrine sediments”. I received my Bachelor’s degree in 2014, on the research topic “Petrographic and diagenetic characterisation of lacustrine carbonates at the margin of the Rieskratersee (Germany)”. I began my Master’s degree in Geology at the University of Potsdam in 2014. In 2016, I volunteered at the “International Conference of Permafrost” (ICOP 2016) in Potsdam.
